Akord is an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) with partnerships across 25+ payment processors and acquiring banks. We don't process payments ourselves — we match merchants to the bank that's the best fit for their industry, volume, and risk profile.

That distinction matters. A single-processor solution forces every merchant into the same underwriting box. If you don't fit, you're declined. Akord's multi-processor model means we have options. If one bank says no, we have 24 more to evaluate. If your business needs a specialty high-risk processor, we have those relationships. We specialize in high-risk industries that mainstream processors avoid: research peptides, CBD, forex, firearms, nutraceuticals, and more. But we also serve standard-risk businesses that want better rates, faster funding, or a more responsive partner.
